The Hospice RN ensures that the needs of the hospice participant and family are professionally and compassionately met according to the attending physicians orders and the IDT Plan of Care. The Hospice RN also serves as an advocate and educator for improved care of all people who are terminally ill.Requirements:The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:Current state Registered Nurse (RN) licenseMinimum of 2-3 years experience in hospice or a transferable, clinical venue such as home care, geriatrics, or oncologyCurrent or eligible for certification in CPROn the job training of 3-6 months is required to learn hospice philosophy and policies & proceduresCertification in hospice and palliative nursing within two years of employment is strongly encouragedTeam members are eligible for a generous benefit package including health benefits (medical, prescription, dental and vision), flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability programs, 401(k) plan (with 4% company match after one year of employment), paid time off and holidays, and much more!
